Native American Storytelling

Join us for an afternoon of Native American Storytelling in the Longhouse at River Raisin National Battlefield Park. There will be traditional stories shared as well as fun crafts to go along with the stories. This event is open to the public.

Two Sessions: 

  • Session 1: 10 am – Noon 
  • Session 2: 1 pm – 3 pm 

 Preregistration required to guarantee a spot.

  • Call:  734-243-7136 to register 
  • Cost: $5/person with craft.  No charge for just storytelling. 
    • 2 crafts including: can drum construction kit and bean plant craft kit
  • Group sizes are limited to 30 people. 
  • Same day registration is available but cannot guarantee space. 

We will be inside, but the Longhouse is chilly. You may bring a blanket if you’d like.
